My name is Summer I am 6 years old. My pony is called Maggie she is a Welsh pony, she is 13 years old and 11hh. I started riding her when I was three and now we have her on full loan. I like to jump Maggie and we like going to shows. We have been to Equifest twice, the first year we got into the evening performance and last year we won the lead rein showjumping class. Sometimes my 5 year old brother Marshall rides Maggie and I ride Dinky, another pony at my yard. I sometimes ride Bertie, a 4 year old Welsh pony too. In March I jumped Maggie in our first class without mummy holding the reins! We had so much fun, Maggie is the best pony ever. Summer's mum says: at the moment we are lucky we can still see Maggie and look after her everyday, the children are just hacking out in walk and we are not jumping or riding off the lead to keep all riding low risk. Hello Everyone my name is Penelope and I will be three in a couple of months. My pony is called Nelly and we are just starting to go out on hacks around our village. My mummy has a pony called Higgins. He is very fat and greedy! I help my Daddy to muck out and feed the ponies everyday since I was really tiny. We are very lucky to have such a nice Daddy! He also leads me out but sometimes he has to run because Nelly is very fast! We were hoping to go to our first show this summer but we are very sad that they might not happen now but we will have lots of extra time to practice. Hello my name is Maisie and this is my pony Vixen ! I’m nearly 2 years old and Vixen is 7. At home we have three horses Smidge , Simon and Vixen. Smidge is Daddy’s horse , Simon's is my mummy’s horse and Vixen is my pony. I’ve been riding since I was in mummy’s tummy and I got Vixen when I was 16 months old. I love to go and help with the horses and I have to muck out everyday, although I’m in charge of filling the water buckets I tend to get very wet and so does everyone else!! I enjoy riding whenever I can and try to go out most days. I’m learning my ‘up downs’ and jump position which I like to use a lot, Vixen loves jumping so I think we’re a good pair ! I love to go hacking and hunting. We did want to try and have a go at some showing this year, but we will have to see as its new for both Vixen, mummy and I ! No matter the weather I love to ride, but I cannot wait until the summer so we can do lots of things together and have lots of fun ❤

Hello, I am Felicity Mae and I am three years old. I love helping out at the stables with all the horses. I like mucking out and filling up haynets, my favourite job is grooming and picking out their feet. I have been riding since before I could walk and I am enjoying learning rising trot. Misty is very bouncy and makes me giggle! When I ride or groom, I like to sing to the horses and they like it too! Here are a few pics of me with my favourites! Hey my name is Lilly-May and I am 2 years old, but soon it's my birthday. I have three horses at my house called Hollie, Danny and Donald. Donald is my pony and he's my best friend, I love to ride my auntie Sarah's horses Hollie and Dan Dan as well. I first sat on Hollie when I was a tiny baby then my auntie got dan dan and I love riding him and going over poles like they were big jumps. Mummy and daddy got me Donald in August 2019 and I love to ride him all the time, I'm now practising for lead rein when I go to shows. I love to trot and I'm practising my up downs and soon I'm going to jump with him. I love to look after my donald and help out on the yard, giving him a bath is great fun. I will always make time for a cuddle with my Donald even though I can be tired after nursery. I love to ride him in from the field when hes been out playing, I love to give him his favourite treats when he's been a super good boy. I love to wear my auntie's rosettes and I'm soon going to win lots and lots of my own. I want to ride my Donald on the television like the big horses like John Whitaker. Donald,Dan Dan and Hollie are my best friends,I love them so much and giving them cuddles is my favourite thing in the world.

Hi, my name is jayden Wilson and I have recently turned 2 years old, I have a 4 year old Welsh pony and my very own special 1 eyed foal Hunter who is 8 months old. I have been riding since I turned 6 months old, I absolutely love going down the field and helping mummy see to the ponies, we have 4 in total, the other 2 being my mummies! I enjoy taking chance out on hacks and we are starting to go out longer everytime, I have fallen of chance a few times when she's been feeling a bit fresh and mummy didn't manage to catch me in time, but straight back on and we are going again! I now enjoy trotting and making lots of dinosaur sounds whilst we are skipping along, I can already trot by my self without my mummy holding onto me! Chancey absolutely loves jumping so hopefully in a few years we will be able to start then eventually attend some shows. My baby pony hunter unfortunately had his eye removed after the new year as he had bad trauma to it, but he's still the same and loves me going over to cuddle him, I always give him his food and stand there with him whilst he eats it, hunter will hopefully be my next pony up from chance as I grow into a big boy, he's very special to me and we have a great bond already. Hi, My name is Wyatt and I am 5 years old. My shetland is called George and he is amazing. We are very lucky to loan him as he is a super star. I ride George off the lead rein and he looks after me. Everywhere we go everyone just loves to see George. We call him Gorgeous George. I have loved riding since I was a baby and I have always been around horses as my older sister also rides. We keep our horses on a small livery yard where we can enjoy our ponies with friends. I have had George since October 2019 - I was lucky enough to ride him before we got him on loan so we have been having fun together since I was 4. Before George I had a Welsh section A called kezzie who took me to my first pony camp in 2018. I do everything with George. I take care of him every day and make sure he has everything he needs. We go to pony club lessons together where we try and catch up with all the big kids ! We have been cross country jumping and we attend show jumping shows where we just have the best time together. Even when things go wrong George patiently waits for me to jump back on 😂 We have big plans for 2020 - when hopefully we can get back out having fun - we are hoping to make it to the Sunshine Tour Championships, we would like to do a beach trip and enjoy pony camp. I love to ride and be around horses. George and I have lots of fun ahead and when my legs get too long I plan to steal my sisters pony !! Wyatt & George 💙💙💙

I would like to introduce you to 2.5 yo Harper and her pony, The Painted Pirate. Harper had a rough start to life and was born with an Omphalocele, a type of badly placed hernia. She also had a major heart defect requiring surgery. Once Harper had recovered from all her surgeries, she started accompanying mom while she taught lessons. It became apparent quickly that Harper was bitten by the horse-bug. We decided to fast track getting a pony to help with physical therapy and building core strength. Pirate has been a part of our family for almost a year. Harper rides 4-6 days a week in almost every weather (snow rides are some of her favorite!) The two have competed in leadline this past year, finishing as reserve champions for a local schooling series. Some of Harper’s favorite things to do with Pirate are: practicing pony club games, picking feet, playing with the big ball, and of course feeding Pirate lots of cookies! Being a professional in Eventing, I feel grateful to have a child grow up with a pony. It teaches her responsibility and structure, but more importantly it reminds me to slow down, have a good giggle, and enjoy the little things. Hi I'm Pippa, I'm 3 years old and have 2 ponies Magic and Buster. I have been riding since I was 18 months old. I regularly compete in showing and love coming home with rossettes. I have recently started jumping more and love it. Me and Magic like to jump, we recently did some little cross country jumps with her and she loved it. Buster I haven't had long but he's doing really well. He has started jumping and is really enjoying it. We hope to be out competing with them both soon and hopefully do more work off the lead rein. I help my mummy do all the jobs on the yard and love to give my ponies treats.
